Well i've seen both Becketts and Eau Rouge with my own eyes, and was also lucky enough to race at Silverstone a few times earlier in my youth, and i'd agree without a doubt that Eau Rouge is visually more attractive. My problem with Eau Rouge though comes with the fact that it really isn't a challenge in a contemporary F1 car, for me that's a big part of it. I don't mind people having different opinions, but saying "Typical? brits, always overrating their stuff" is way a bit out of line! ;)

@rude90 challenging doesnt mean cool or great. This one belongs to the "challenging but not amazing" cathegory of corners. I've seen it with TV and with a fan's camera... and drove it with video games, it is a challenging but not really beautiful corner and creates problems to overtake there as the track is not so wide.

Without a doubt this is one of the greatest corners in the world - if you've never seen an F1 car go through it from maggots or chapel, or of course actually driven through it at real race speeds yourself, then you're negative comments are irrelevent - TV does not do it justice. It's also technically more challenging than the spectacular Eau Rouge or 130R, with extremely high speed direction changes that are challenging in either tin tops or single seaters. All three corners are awesome however!

@robertolo There all good but Id say Becketts is the best. Eau rouge and 130R are easily flatout in todays cars whereas Becketts is not, meaning Becketts is a better test of driver skill.

Siverstone Single Seater Experience

This was amazing. It was my first time in a single seater and despite the occasional gear crunching (the racing gear shift caught me out a few times) it got better and better on each lap. The session lasted 20 minutes so I've sped the video up in a few places to get it under the 15 mins for upload to youtube.
