Not sure why people keep mentioning that they saw him at Green Day and Reading/Leeds, the whole point of this video is to highlight the virtues of small intimate gigs to a handful of diehard fans, not massive faceless performances to thousands. The fact you're bragging about seeing him is fantastic but the fact you happened to catch him at a festival, perhaps by chance, is not something to brag about. Alot of people saw him at reading and green day. No one else cares.

Manufactured cigarettes are loaded with chemicals like ammonia. I find it hard to believe that smoking marijuana would be worse for you than smoking cigarettes. Also, there is no statistically valid proof that smoking causes lung cancer. If someone gets lung cancer there is no way to prove 100% that it was because they smoked.

@promptaet No, the drummer is Danny Cummings. He also played with the Dire Straits in the 90's. Mark refers to him as Mr. Horsepower... I went to the Get Lucky Tour concert here in Denmark three months ago. It was unforgettable. If Mark and the guys go on tour again, I will definately be there!

@WinstonThirstkill Age puts a strain on everyone, but he still plays just as great as he always has, and is still an amazing guitarist. Also: I didn't diss his playing, sounds like the sound for the theatre wasn't set-up very well, some parts were pretty quiet, but it may just be the recording itself. I meant no disrespect to Mark Knopfler, I greatly respect him as a guitarist.

Amazing playing, considering he was 55 years old when he played this. The pacing and playing is amazing, making for a great performance. The guitar could use a bit more 'oomph' and be a bit louder though, the playing is fine, it's just kind of quiet and lacks some kick behind it.
