A couple things.....R32's are fast as is, add a twin turbo on that ish, and you have a pretty freakin powerful car, that, in a LONG distance race (1 mile), will probably lose to a 300,000+ car. That being said, the R32 has an AWD powertrain, which gives it the upper hand from a complete stop, where as the Ferrari nearly spun out, as shown in the video for both vehicles. And to be completely honest, will you EVER drive ANY car faster than 160mph on non-track pavement? Probably not... R32>Ferrari

Both cars weight about the same. If that R is really twinturbo then its prolly pushing anywhere from 650-800hp. Compare that with the Ferraris 500hp and the fact the R is AWD. So yeah R should win no prob in 1/4 mile but after that its all Ferrari cause the R tops at 160mph and the Ferrari is close to 200mph. Golfs, WRX's, Evo's etc can all be built to go faster than Ferrairs, Lambos, Porsches etc but when it comes down to it........Youre still driving vw, subi or mitsu.

AWD will apply more traction to the opposite wheel that is spinning/losing traction and it helps you regain control, and does not have two posi's.

@NakedSnakeBlGBOSS Well petrol here is awfully expensive, so buying a diesel is better. Plus the turbo charged six cylinder (330d) can achieve 251hp and 500Nm/ 367lb/ft of torque when is chip tuned. That engine can get more than 40mpg also when is driven normally ... I know that they are many problems with the e46, but the engines are very good. It's too bad that they don't sell those things in the states, because the modern diesel engine is in my opinion a lot better than a dull Toyota prius.

Cars mean something a lot to me, and I'm very much glad to be driving around a G35 Coupe, which is known as Skyline in Japan. It has way more hp than the E46 I had, so I love it. Since I dream to own a Nissan GT-R, I will have to be just satisfied with this car for now :\

Infinity's and WRX's are very rare to find in Europe so they are not really an option for me . From the Japanese group I was looking at Nissan Primera and Toyota Avensis. The sad thing is that parts for Japanese cars are very expensive here. And they loose value rapidly compared to a dull golf for example.

@TazZzBG Hmm, well, right now, it's G35 Coupe, but I might change it to Subaru Impreza WRX. I've experienced all big 3 Japanese cars(My father's Toyota, good ol' Honda and now Infiniti G35 Coupe. All cars just gave us no trouble, at, all) Now my father has Infiniti M35X, which even got an award in 2006 for being so reliable(It was rated as reliable as Lexus GS) and the car rides like a rocket, too and it's AWD, so it's just amazing in all weather condition. I love Nissan.

And no one really gives a chance to the Japanese cars(They do, but what they say is just, oh, they are reliable, but they are still Jap crap) and the American cars(American supercars like Saleen S7, SSC Ultimate Aero, Corvette and Viper are usually ignored by many. Amazing how Ferrari will probably come out with an Enzo replacement that will make the world forget about this fantastic automobile. @MDIVISIONRULES Yea probably right... as far as I know, the first attempt in the Zonda failed due to the rear suspension collapsing at 160mph, that record time was set on the 2nd run in the spare car, so i'm guessing the driver was probably a little more conservative. However, it still doesn't take away from the fact that the radical did it on road tyres. Imagine the radical in non-road legal form with a set of tyres like these cars are running... Could get close to Bellof's 6.11 in the 956.
